Current status
Our union contract (RX | TX) extends until June 30, 2013 and covers our pay increases and all other working conditions.

We have a finalized agreement on how to distribute the additional 0.5% funds set aside for equity. For complete details, see the full agreement.

Here is a summary of the raises, pension contributions and health benefit increases in our union contract:

  • October 1, 2010: 2.5% cost-of-living increase for everyone

  • October 1, 2010: 0.5% equity pool distributed in February, 2011 but retroactive to October, 2010

  • January 1, 2011: step increase (about 2%) for all career, non-probationary employees who are not at the top of their pay range

  • July 1, 2011: 1% contribution to pension fund

  • October 1, 2011: 3% cost-of-living increase for everyone

  • January 1, 2012: step increase (about 2%) for all career, non-probationary employees who are not at the top of their pay range
